This looks pointless considering Sony already has the Frag Fx that has an analog instead of arrow keys and 4 face buttons on the side of the mouse.

@Arch649 with this? presumably all of them. With just a plain ol' Mouse & Keyboard, you got Counterstrike:GO and Unreal Tournament 3, that's just off the top of my head.

Well, the FragFX I used felt like it was going to break in half if I looked at it funny. I don't know how well built the Hori is but hopefully it's better than the FragFX.

I have a setup kinda like this already for my PC. More buttons more everyhting and it cost me very little. Course that was from different methods but at full price for both items it would be about 100.
Thats a Belkin N25TE gaming keypad and a Cyborg Rat5 mouse.
With a TON more functions and buttons. Well, all together anyway.
I do like how this one seems to be just a PS3 pad retranslated into a mouse a keypad.
Which means on PC it'll register as a Joystick and on PS3 it'll work with nearly all games.
Very nice.
If I see it on sale I might just grab one for the fun of it.
Negative points for cords though. For the price they should make it wireless at the least. (A switch for PC key/mouse mode would be nice too)

Want! My PC still kicks the PS3 in terms of hardware power and graphical quality, but for console-only shooters ... oh, hell, yeah!
I prefer the PC controls to the PS3 controls (I've played it on both) and I was wondering if there's any way anyone knows to play a PS3 with a regular keyboard/mouse combo without having to buy some dumb add-on hacking it?
If CS:GO has custom binds as it's rumoured to have, then that 'keyboard' absolutely does not have all the keys you will ever need.
I've got the frag fx. It's nit the same as proper mouse because it's trying to translate from controller - u have to calibrate a ridiculous amount for each game , it's not 1-1 , you have a dead zone that you have to try and calibrate out by upping sensitivity , but then this makes it more jerky. I hot to a stage where It had def improved my bc2 stats but it was s lot of effort . Would love all the FPS to support normal pc mouse.

$99 is not overpriced. The amazing gaming keyboard, Logitech G15, is $200 alone. This is a bargain compared to that.
As an owner of a FragFX, I can say that yeah, it is pretty crummy. The problem is that it emulates a mouse and keyboard, which put in the context of most console FPS games, does not work half as well as you might expect. Most console FPS games these days have an accelerating cross hair (something that kills a shooter for me), so there's no getting around the fact that using an emulated mouse feels disjointed and sluggish on even the highest setting.
This thing looks like just a mouse and keyboard, not a M+K emulator like the FragFX, so it would probably only work with games that support the function.

Since Sony seems to be behind this device, it may work better than similar devices. I have always heard that the other devices don't work that well since they are just mapping the mouse control to the analog sticks.
Demon eyes - only 2 games that I know of support mouse control and one isn't out yet . As far as I know only unreal does ATM . I imagine this is a mouse emulator. But yes you can use mouse and keys on ps3 functions like chat and Internet.
I'm curious as to how well this would actually work with most games, seeing as now most FPS games on PlayStation 3 don't legitimately support mouselook.

got the xim360 and halo matches have been easy mode, step one get sniper, step two no scope headshot everything.
I probably wouldn't buy something like this, but that doesn't stop me from complaining that leftys like me are always forgotten. :p
If I had a ps3 ild be stoked for this, but ild rather just play FPS games on a PC atleast then ild know that everybody else would be using M&K rather than me and those who are using M&K pwning 99% of gamers who are handicapped with pads.

What devs really should do for popular online games is seperate players with different control types into seperate servers
Not to mention you can synch a bluetooth keyboard (like an Apple keyboard) and mouse to it, making it wireless.
