Oh well, I am sure this game will be great, even if it is $15 for one episode.

I will wait for the reviews.
I'll buy 4, and rent Colors, but I'm expecting low review scores for 4 in particular.
@ Enzi - What? How would anyone know? More importantly, does it matter??
I thought maybe they were sending out pre-releases for the testers or a developer mentioned how long the playtime is. Wouldn't be something out of the ordinary.
And yeah, it does matter. I'm not paying 15$ for a 2d game that has 4-5 levels and is finished within 2 hours unless it really is something special or experimental.
Figure three to four minutes per level on average, the first time through, before you learn them and including any deaths. So right off the bat, that's roughly an hour's worth of gameplay. Of course, part of the appeal of the Genesis-era Sonic games was going through the game and figuring out alternative paths and trying to increase your speeds and figuring out the best way to get the chaos emeralds.
All-told, I'd expect four or five hours of "good" gameplay where you're discovering new content like alternate routes combined with a lot of replay value. Of course, I'm going to wait to see a couple reviews first.
If only that were true, you'd have a point.
Don't take this serious. ;)
@meteorscrap: Thanks for the info. Doesn't sound too bad with 12 levels.
Well, dunno if I should call it a gift. Has to be better than another sweater this year... right?
"Hey guys, we're going to keep you in the dark about the releasOHWAIT nevermind comes out in 2 weeks"
Also worth mentioning that the ipod touch version is supposed to come out before that, on October 7th.
Dude, Jim, you totally rag on Kinect. As a bro lemme tell you with all due respect you totally totally totally rag on Kinect, all the time, 24/7. If there's a Kinect story and you're the one writing it there's going to be something ragging on it.
I don't mind it. I come here for the opinions and all that jazz. But if Kinect were the chick in high school who desperately wanted to date you and you just kept teasing her she would've killed herself by now. And you would've been totally cool with it.
And I've very rarely picked on Move. My only major issue with Move is the price.
That was a beautiful metaphor.

No WiiWare release date? Oh well, I'd get this on PS3 anyway.
Yeah. I'll also become rich.
G4tv.com says:
iTunes: Oct. 7th
Wii: Oct. 11th
PS3: Oct 12th
XBox: Oct. 13th
You know Sega won't be able to resist the temptation of packaging them all as a $50 disc later on, and I'll buy it when that drops to $20.
I haven't finished Sonic and Knuckles yet anyway... because it kind of sucks, just a little.
Still, I think Sonic 4 is pretty, and I'm interested, but that's just not enough content to justify buying it...
