Have you been waiting patiently to hear news on when you'll be able to get your grubby mitts on Sonic's latest adventure, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1? I didn't think so. You people can be so eager at times, you know that? Well, wait no longer. Sonic will be hitting PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade very soon indeed.

Xbox UK spokesperson Dom Carey updated his Twitter recently with the news that the blue blur would be available on XBLA October 13th. Sega has since confirmed the date to Strategy Informer, adding that it will be releasing on PSN at the same time. It will run at the new favored price point for premium downloadable games, $14.99 (or 1200 MS points).

Finally, we can all calm down about this. Jim promises that the review will be coming soon and I hope for everyone's sake that the news is good. Nobody likes hearing that a friend, even one you don't spend time with any longer, is lying in a gutter somewhere.

Acaratus brings robots onto the tactical RPG battlefield

There is something about turn-based battles on a square grid that always seems to captivate me. Taking that idea out of the generic fantasy setting garners bonus points for me too. Granted, Acaratus is described to take plac...more
