Sonic and Fergie? I thought our hedgehog friend was into more classy girls. Well, Fergie does claim to be Glamorous, doesn't she?
Through this brilliant remix (it's not a mashup, as a mashup combines two audio tracks), Sega's Sonic and Black Eyed Peas' Fergie come together in perfect harmony. The remixer takes the tempo down a bit and makes this song even more chill with pitchbent sines and slick chord replacement. This is the work of AfriqueDeluxe, who says that he loved the Sonic games growing up. He said that the first level song, a.k.a. "Green Hill Zone," stuck with him for years, and he decided to pay homage to it with this song.
I'm not necessarily a Fergie fan, but I've always been Sonic one. And now maybe a AfriqueDeluxe one. Check it out after the jump.

Yeah, Sonic made that song tolerable.
It made a song that I definitively wouldn't have liked familiar and kinda..good.
but without them it might make a good song
(probably cause for some ungodly reason, i sorta like the original song, though i cant stand fergie >_>)
I thought this would be the announcement of a new Sonic game where Sonic has to rescue Fergie.
I might go play Sonic Mega Collection now...
God forsake I don't think of Fergie and this song whilst playing.
