In this new video, SEGA basically tells us Sonic CD is arriving in the form of a shiny new port. The publisher overlooks this game constantly, which is hardly surprising because it's always felt like a cheap fan-made game than an official product, or the kind of knock-off you'd buy from a dodgy Russian bloke in a covered market.
For some reason, a lot of fans out there actually call this one of the best games in the series, which I can only assume is some sort of witty insult to the franchise in general. I stand by my assertion that there are ten Sonic games that are better, including Sonic 4.
I mean, it's cool that the game's finally getting some love, but it's really not very good. I'll never understand what the fuss is about.
