I have Sonic & The Secret Rings, and it has to be said, it's not great (as if anybody didn't know that already) but the prescence of Knuckles slightly restores my shattered hope in the Sonic Storybook series.

Gotta love Sonic.

Secret Rings was almost good. Backtracking was shitty as fuck (for lack of a better term) and the mission structure was just an excuse to reuse the same 7 levels over and over.

Also, I like being able to control the speed of the person I'm playing as. Just saying.

However, when you fall into the groove and start dodging and leaping really quickly, it was really, really fun. Problems didn't hit till you had to slow down/stop. If they could fix those, I'd be all set.

Also, a sword is way less retarded than a werehog, so I don't hate this game as much. The trailer looked really cool, too.

How about we make it an encompassing Adventure?

Hey that seemed to work except for that cat fishing thing. Lets double the characters and focus on them more, give sonic a Rival, give him Tony Hawk moves, Introduce another major enemy and make Robotnik a bad but not that bad kind of guy fighting this totally evil.. uh Evil.

No? How about we introduce even more charaters and make it so you can play three of them at once?

still nothing? How about we get that rival from Sonic Adventure 2, give him a gun and have him blow through stages Dante style!

Oh man! you REALLY hate this Shadow guy! Maybe you'll like him in a extreme hoverboard racing challenge!

Ok that didn't work. How about we keep this rail gameplay from that Wii game, but add some brawling like that Shadow game you hate but with no guns. And look! I got the guy doing the portable games to help me since you seem to love his games!

Ok! You hate the brawling but love his running stages... Hmm. Maybe if I combine the two and throw it into king Authur times like that Arabian Knights game...
