How is this better in Japanese? Perhaps because Japanese is my second language both English and Japanese have the same effect.

Really? I figured out what it was the moment I hit the play button. I saw those battleships in the water and I said "Modern Warfare 3!" But to be fair, I read what you wrote first. Still, it was a dead giveaway to me.
I agree that dramatic speeches sound better in any language you don't understand. Where's the spanish dub?
