Some lovely Dark Souls II screenshots have emerged

Undead horses, dragons, and skeletons, oh my!

Compliments of NeoGAF, some amazing Dark Souls II screenshots are out in the wild, and damn do they look beautiful. The locales are fairly reminiscent of the first two games in the franchise, with the standout being this action packed screen of a hero on a wooden bridge, set to the backdrop of giant dragons.

I have to say, I'm pretty impressed so far. While there isn't anything wildly different, I'd say it's "sufficiently Dark Souls," and at this point in development, I'm happy with that. I just hope the game doesn't sacrifice what made the franchise so great.
