Some had to do it: Shooting a DSi through a wall photo

Anytime you use something for anything other than its intended use, I dig it. Make toast with a blowtorch? Cool. Fry an egg on a car engine? Awesome. Use a Nintendo DSi as a wrecking ball? Fantastic.

French gaming magazine Amusement (creepy webpage) really wanted to put a DSi through a wall, I guess. They did, and the photographic result is everything you'd hope it would be. The DSi spits in half, of course, but it makes it through a wall successfully, taking wall pieces with it.

If they were shooting portable game systems, I would have wanted to try a TurboExpress, batteries and all. That lil' bitch was heavy, so it could have done some major damage.

Shooting a $170 DSi through a Wall: Cause why not?

I never held a TurboExpress, so I cant comment on that, but my choice for portable-system-through-a-wall would have been a Sega Nomad. Those suckers were gigantic. The Nomad would probably put a basketball sized hole in the wall and still function. For about 10 minutes at least until it ran out of batteries...

You're right, that site is really creepy. I've seen a few of those pictures before in some random places. There's some pixelated nudity in there too, should probably flag that as NSFW.

A Sega Game Gear could go through at least 5 of those walls and still be playable.

Not a DSi, it's got a GBA slot and no camera :P

But a very odd site, nonetheless.
