Late last night, we brought you a review and a video review of Halo 3: ODST. It's one of year's most anticipated titles and it takes the Halo series in a slightly new direction with all of its new features. Is it worth the purchase though? You'll have to read the review to find out for yourself.
If words aren't your thing, we have plenty of new images from Halo 3: ODST's Firefight mode as well as some images from the new Mythic maps for the original multiplayer mode of Halo 3. Firefight, to me, is worth the purchase alone and you're going to find yourself devoting a ton of time to it.
Jumping from Firefight to regular multiplayer mode may confuse some people for awhile, as it did for me. After spending a good portion of the day playing the single-player and Firefight mode at the review event, we all jumped into the deathmatch multiplayer of Halo 3 to check out the new Mythic maps. It wasn't until half way into the first match that I remembered I could use Equipment items and dual wield guns again. I actually said out loud "Oh right, I'm a Spartan again! Awesome!"
Sure, it's a ton of fun playing Firefight, but it's also nice playing as a genetically enhanced badass. Plus, killing other people is always more gratifying then killing the AI.

I wouldn't say it's "overhyped," though. You hear a lot about it, because it's sort of coming out in a little more than 24 hours, but a lot of people are going to wait until this gets cheap to buy it. That is, if they buy it at all.
I completely agree about Cod games, they get released every year and people treat them like the game of the century

That's 100% right. Absolutely everyone on PSN is over the age of 18 and has been beatified by the Catholic Church.
Let's get real here. Do you even own an Xbox 360? I own both consoles, and each have their pros and cons. Please leave and come back when you're ready to start being rational and stop trolling.

I miss Halo 3 multiplayer. I'm looking forward to getting back into it and actually being able to use all the playlists, and add Firefight to my repertoire.
Hype train? I have both systems, so I'm able to enjoy what ODST has to offer, as well as the amazing title that is Killzone 2.

You're ABSOLUTELY right, but the problem is that rabid fanboys like him, Gene Eric, sexualchocolate, etc. don't have any sense or rationality, it's like speaking a different language to them. They need someone to talk to them in their language, be it bait or whatever.
He can say a statement like you just said, but I named 5 things alone which output anything KZ2 does, so it would be rather lame and desperate, would it not? I can name more like supportive developers which keep the MP alive and extremely popular/updated, etc, but by that time I'm sure his feeble little brain would crush under the pressure.

I'm still on edge about this game. I wasn't a huge Halo 3 fan, but Firefight looks really really fun. I might end up picking it up just for that.

Patriot Snake, I agree that MGS4 is a masterpiece. It may even be the best game I have ever played, but that doesn't mean that multi-platform games aren't good as well. Look at the infinity ward Call of Duty games. Look at Splinter Cell. And don't forget Batman: AA.
Oh and graphics don't make a good game. Gameplay does. The Xbox 360 has the same number of buttons as the PS3, minus the motion control (which is a joke, and even making boobs jiggle with the Dualshock 3 is a difficult task).
So please stop being a fanboy or a troll or whatever you are, and GTFO. The rest of us D'toiders don't want you here.
