Because one version of Solitaire just isn't enough these days, we're now getting 18 variations of the game bundled together in one digital package. Soltrio Solitaire will net you 800 Microsoft Points and arrives on Live Arcade this Wednesday in all regions except for Korea.
Soltrio Solitaire features a new fangled mode called "Voyage Adventure" in which you travel around a map and play Solitaire to unlock custom card designs. International card tournaments? Can't say that I've ever heard of a game with a plot like that before.
If you're a die-hard Solitaire fan, you'll be happy to know that online multiplayer and Vision camera support are included in this game:
*Two-player multiplayer via system link or over Xbox LIVE
*Xbox LIVE Vision camera support, making multiplayer solitaire an engaging social experience
*In two-player mode, two games take place at the same time, and both players share the same foundation piles, prompting a fight over the piles in the race to win the game
*In co-op mode, players work together to attempt to finish the game with the best score possible, and players also have the ability to pass cards to each other
*Create new cards when you unlock card elements, show them off to your friends and customize your own decks!
*Earn up to 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points
Be honest, how many of you are perfectly content with playing Solitaire on your PC for free?

"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Okay, my head hurts now. Thanks MS.
Soccer moms that harrass Nintendo because the Wii can let you browse porn sites should check if their dear little children are playing Uno...
On a side note, I bought Double Dragon, what the crap is up with that game. I don't need new graphics or anything just give me the straight port from Nintendo to my 360.
Second side note, how the crap do I get past the 13th challenge on Worms? I am gonna go nuts!
But yeah, how do you beat the 13th challenge on Worms? I'm stuck their too.
Worms 13 :: Who left the flood-gates open?
In this level, I always pretty much forget about the left hand Worm, it's very hard to save both Worms, and the one on the right has less competition. Both goes below refer to the right hand Worm.
Go 1 :: Go onto the bit of land on your right, vaguely close to the pipe on the right. You can skip the rest of the go. With any luck, the Worm on your right will now fire a bazooka which will nearly open up the way.
Go 2 :: Use the shotgun to get out, using the spare shot on the enemy.
Go 3 :: Ninja Rope up to the far right hand corner.
From here, you should play it by ear to a certain extent. However, you can assure victory by building Girders up to the right hand edge of the yellow thing in the middle at the top. You can make a nice little hidey-hole, and you'll be higher than anyone else on the level. Then you just need to wait for the water to rise.
When I play the free solitaire on my PC it is so i can be alone.
lol, it's the original arcade version. The NES game was a port of the game as it appears on XBLA.
The Windows PC "Solitaire" game isn't really free (requires a Windows license to legally have, and you pay for Windows with a PC), but there is a superior free Solitaire game available, but it's GNU/Linux only (or you *could* force it into Cygwin, somehow). However, it isn't superior enough to warrant switching to a different OS.
I don't think the multiplayer aspects make complete sense with this game, but I'm betting they'll sell that many more copies. Maybe Microsoft should make a "Windows Gamepack" for the 360, which would include all the regular Windows games like Minesweeper, some card games, Checkers, and some others, would sell pretty well.
