Honestly, I'm not going to buy it. I downloaded a copy months ago before Nintendo announced they were bringing to North America. I played it for about 20 hours and got really, really bored. I liked certain innovations, but didn't like the MMO nature of the game. Fights with regular enemies seemed to drag on forever. It was good, but for me, not the game-changing JRPG that some people are claiming it is.
I preordered it online. Although I don't plan on playing it yet, I'll wait for the WiiU to play it on the HDTV.
I mostly bought it, in order to support Operation Rainfall. Just wish I could buy it from Amazon to use my amazon gift cards finally...

Today’s a federal holiday up here in Canada, so all the stores are closed. No Xenoblade for me until tomorrow, unfortunately.
Seeing a game I'd like come out on the Wii just highlights how godawful the system's library is. Even at $150 it isn't worth it for the 3 or 4 games I would get, especially since the hardware itself is so antiquated.

I forgot this was coming out so soon, so I only pre ordered from Nintendo about a week ago. Which means it'll probably show up sometime in June.
Gonna get it as soon as I can today.
I love RPG's, but I have such a hard time finding the right ones for me. Oblivion/Skyrim, New Vegas and Mass Effect 1/2/3 are my kind of thing. Western-style RPG's. So I also can't fucking wait for Dragon's Dogma.
I haven't played an RPG like this since Star Ocean: 'Til the End of Time, so this should be awesome.

I got to my local EB games and asked for my copy. The lady behind the counter told me that they had one copy but could not sell it to me. When I asked why her reasoning was because the game was being held for pre-order. Somehow this did not click in her head that I was the one who pre-ordered it......... even when I passed her my receipt of me already paying for the game in full. Long story short I actually had to call the customer service line to get her to give me the game which I had already paid for. Fun times, precious memories.

I'm one consumer who is not interested in this game. I own a Wii, play it all the time, but I just can't play JRPGs.

I preordered it earlier this week and I'm going to pick it up after work. I've been reading various reviews and I can't wait to get started. This is the only other game besides Skyward Sword that I've paid full price for in a loooong time.
Already payed for my copy, just won't be picking it up until Sunday (IF Gamestop is even open on Easter) or Monday. Birthday's on Saturday and I'd rather spend it at college at a gay club with exotic dancers than at home with loving family and I just said too much haven't I?
Got it, will be playing it in a few minutes. :) I really have no expectations at all so this should be interesting.
The one thing that sorta worries me is the people saying things like "I'll pick it up in a few months" or "I'll pick it up when I'm caught up on my backlog" or "I'll pick it up when I buy the WiiU"
All technically valid.... but for some reason I just have the gut feeling that this game is going to go the way of Metroid Trillogy or Radiant Historia. Where in which you won't be able to pick it up or at best pray for a re-release.

Can't really fault you the only reason I got a Wii was for Skyward sowrd ..... and to be honest while it was a good game I really enjoyed Okami more :P
There are quire a few gems to be had but ..... you are going to have to wade through hip deep sewage to find them ~.~

I have to say though, they kind of went half-assed on the art book, it's pretty small in pages and the pages are technically just stapled together. As for the game case, I wish it'd been see through so the reversible art cover could be seen from the inside. @firstworldproblems
But yup can't wait to play some after I eat.

It should have shipped from Nintendo today. Sure I had to pay shipping, but at least I didn't pay GameStop anything.
I preordered back in December and picked it up today on my way to work. Now I just have to wait ten goddamn hours to play it.
I just picked up my copy this morning! I'm not quite sure when I'll have time to play it but I bought my copy just to support the game.
I refuse to support Gamestop in buying new games. Therefore, I preordered it straight from Nintendo's website. So... whenever they end up shipping it. :P
Just got the e-mail from GameStop yesterday evening saying my pre-order had shipped. Apparently I placed my order in late January; didn't remember it being that far back. But anyway, here's hoping it sells well enough to show that projects that will sell fewer than "millions of copies" are still viable and should be pursued.
I really hope people don't just wait to pick this game up because all the signs are pointing to the fact that this is just going to be a limited release
Endured trashy kids and their moms to pick it up at 10am. Damn, this generation of kids is FUCKED. They all looked like they got hit upside the head with a Stupid Stick.

I intend to. Kind of annoying I have to support Gamestop to do it instead of my favourite local game store but I'll be grabbing it soon.
