Matt Hazard along with all of his geeky references and faux history full of games will be present in Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond, a side-scrolling shooter for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network.
On top of the big news that the game will be available on January 6 for Xbox 360 and then the day after for PS3, we have been given a price, too: 1200 Microsoft Points/$14.99. Also, Matt's sidekick Dexter Dare -- the guy depicted chugging mana in the attached gallery (he has a problem) -- has been revealed.
You might recognize him from the totally-not-fake series Matt and Dexter. We're told he's since kicked his mana addiction in order to better serve under Matt.
See, I was being dead serious when I said these guys are all about the ridiculous marketing.

Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

I can't wait for this, if it's even half as amazing as Matt's last 7 or so games, it'll be well worth the money.
