The rumors we heard were true -- the next Tony Hawk title, Tony Hawk: SHRED, will feature both skateboarding and snowboarding, a first for the series.
The confirmation comes from today's financial call, where the publisher talked about its upcoming release for holiday 2011. The title, which uses the peripheral that shipped with last year's critically panned Tony Hawk: RIDE, is said to feature tighter, update controls.
Tony Hawk Shred will be joined this holiday by a handful of other "proven" IPs -- Call of Duty: Black Ops, DJ Hero 2, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, GoldenEye 007, and James Bond: Blood Stone.

I quit playing Tony Hawk after project 8. Same for EA's Skate 2, which I honestly felt was worse than the first one, far too glitchy for my enjoyment....

Also Tony Hawk is dead, project 8 was the last one i enjoyed, I tried proving ground but it was terrible and Ride was just a horrible idea.
