You ready for PAX? It's just a few short days away! I wish I could go, but The Fates have conspired against me. I'll be missing out on many things, such as the Fangamer VERSUS Attract Mode party going down on Saturday night at 1927 Events starting at 7 PM PDT.

I already shared some info about this shindig previously, but now you can preview some of the various pieces that will be on display. I especially love the above Super Nintendo vs. Sega Genesis mech battle by Daniel Dussault! There will be limited prints of at least a few of these works, so spread some love and take one or two home with you.

Remember, you can also sample some indie games like Super Time Force and Cumulo Nimblers, or just enjoy the chiptastic jams of Danimal Cannon. In addition, it looks my boy Mega Ran will be performing as well -- his shows are always a treat, so don't miss that!

Admission is a mere $5, and you don't need a PAX badge to get in. So... just go... dummyhead!

No Man's Sky planning 'something different' at PlayStation Experience

I've been excited for No Man's Sky for almost a years' time now, but it has become a passive excitement as I wait patiently for it to release. This video, what with some footage I haven't seen and it generally looking a...more

I played a bunch of bizarre first-person shooters so you don't have to

You remember Superhot, don't you? It's a first-person shooter in which time progresses at a normal speed only when you move. Or how about Receiver? It had somewhat realistic gun handling that made for a rewarding experience. ...more

The Blue Flamingo is a ridiculously adorable shmup

Swedish game studio Might and Delight really knows how to make games that stand out visually. Its attractive-looking paper art style on the Shelter series is, in my mind, unmistakable. I can recognize the stud...more
