I fail to see how the addition of voice acting is an improvement in this case. Any way to turn it off? Otherwise I'll hunt down the DS version...
I agree, Strange Journey was the shit but I still picked this up. Only one of the two copies my local store received.
am I the only person who didn't enjoy this game? I dunno, I just wasn't feeling it. and plus Yuzu's boobs are a got-damn distraction

I'm told that yes, you can turn off the voice acting. Also, this version has a bunch of New Game+ stuff, so I'd still rather buy this version even if you couldn't.

Hoping to head to the store tomorrow and pick this up. My ds was dead when the orignal came out so I can't wait to play this.

I've never actually played an SMT game before, but I imagine that I'll go to the store today and at least stare longingly at the back of the box, wondering if I should buy it to play on the plane flight to PAX.

Strange Journey was an amazing game, yes... but what I meant was that I wish this was an original game,(and if it was a classic SMT, as well, all the better) because that's what the 3DS needs so desperately right now.
But, still, if this game is cheap enough maybe it's a good purchase for someone who hasn't tried the original DS game. But I dunno, since there is barely any information on it despite it just came out.

I love the SMT series, but Devil Survivor is probably my least favorite in the series. I barely finished it two times, I'm not buying the 3DS version for crappy voice acting. The story I'm curious about, but I'll probably just read about it somewhere.

The voice acting sounds like a terrible fan-dub ripped from Youtube, but I'll still get it for the other stuff.
I do want but I'm playing Deus ex for console, and links awakening for handheld, so my plate is full for now.
Wow, what horrible timing on their part. Even if I had a 3DS, I'm pretty sure I'd still be playing Deus Ex anyway. Still, this'll definitely be one of the games I look into picking up when I finally get my hands on a 3DS.
I would so have this, if it would ever be released in Europe. I would even import it, if the 3DS didn't have this useless region lock in place. At least Devil Survivor 2 is for DS and I am able to import if it doesn't get released in Europe. Damn region lock!
Playing it right now, since I skipped it when it originally released, and I'm loving it so far. 4 hours in.
