Smack some balls on PSN this spring, ZEN Pinball announced

Apr 15 // Brad Nicholson

Relax. A pinball game is finally coming to PlayStation Network. Yesterday, ZEN Studios (of Mushroom Men DS fame) announced that ZEN Pinball is hitting PSN this spring. It’s a cute little game, with lifelike pinball physics and some decent multiplayer options.

You can always go to the laundromat and pop your change into the dirty Robocop machine in the corner, but the chance you’ll get to challenge anyone to a score shootout is less than stellar. So here’s the quick and dirty on the multiplayer: ZEN Pinball will have local and online multiplayer, a crazy amount of leaderboard data and “worldwide tournament competitions.” Not bad, actually.

Unfortunately, the game will only have four themed tables to start with. There’s the promise of “downloadable tables,” however no prices have been announced at this time. In the gallery, you can observe the El Dorado and Shaman themes. Hou could anyone get tired of those?
