The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) handed out the Annual Interactive Achievement Awards (IAAs) at D.I.C.E. last night, and saw The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim as the big winner. It took home the IAA for Game of the Year, as well as being awarded for outstanding achievements in Story, Game Direction, Game Play Engineering, and Role-Playing Game.
Among the other winners are few surprises. Uncharted 3 dominated in the art and animation departments, Forza 4 won Racing Game of the Year, Bastion won Downloadable Game of the Year, and Infinity Blade II received the award for Mobile Game of the Year.
