Might as well give it to 360 first since it takes a month to make the game playable again each time the ps3 version gets updated.

I will probably never buy DLC for this game. Not that I doubt its quality but jeez. It's gonna take like eleven years just to complete what's on the disc.

I could go for some fresh official Skyrim content. I hope it's a nice sized piece of content, closer to Shivering Isles than Knights of the Nine.

Ask anyone who has played either Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas on PS3...this will break the PS3 version even further.

For people discouraged about the PS3 version, set youself free. Spend a few hindred on a decent gaming rig, plug it into your TV, get an XBox controller if you must but better yet get a side table for the mouse and put the keyboard on you lap. Then download a few of the better mods. This may seem like overkill for just one game but if you like Skyrim enough to be considering getting more of it, it will all make sense once you have done it. I still play Super Stardust and watch Blu-Ray on the PS3, otherwise my living room gaming is entirely enhanced by the current setup.
@Fearzone - Yea... I prefer just accepting the fact that Bethesda robed me of an honest sixty bucks and ya know... move the fuck on with my life. I do plan on building my own rig once the new console gen takes off since ps4 and nextbox sound like shit PC's with permanent DRM.

@BomberJacket - Hope it is B, kind of like Meridia's quest and how she was tlaking about 'spreading her light across the world' or something to that effect. Plus I only roll with 2 non-summoned weapons, some elven soultrap p.o.s. and Dawnbreaker, that thing is badass looking.

Considering how Bethesda handles files and the various tools, that 30 day 360 exclusivity window won't stop PC pirates from playing the DLC on their rigs.

Bethesda has said that they want to make Skyrim DLC packs large, more on par with Shivering Isles than Nights of the Nine. I can wait until Summer if its 20+ hours. Bring it on.
Is this a full expansion? Even so, I don't know if I'm excited or not. I understand Skryim is a good game, but I personally didn't enjoy it.
I don't think any of this precludes the possibility of a retail release for an expansion - isn't that what happened for Shivering Isles?

Developers who care about piracy should give a fuck. Or rather they should milk enough cash from Microsoft to make-up for the fact that PC users will be able to plug the 360 files right into their PC copy and then never purchase the PC release 30 days later as they've already played it.
Now that is, of course, piracy but you'd be amazed how many people will look the other way when they are feeling dicked-over by a platform exclusivity window.

Don't understand all the "poor ps3". I have about 85+ hours logged into skyrim on my day one character, and no problems except for a dead dragon in haafingar and the occasional sky raining mammoths.
I also have fallout goty edition. 50+ hours logged into that. Still no problems except for freezes once every blue moon. I had trouble with New vegas freezing every fucking minute, but I wouldn't expext less from Obsidion.
From all the stuff I've seen on the internet I would habe thought I was one of the lucky few. I know 11 other people with skyrim on ps3 with no problems at all except a few minors. All my pc playing friends seemed to have had smooth sailing. Most of the problems I hear of offline are for those who have a 360(5), or a fat ps3(3).
But I'll reserve my judgement for this dlc until I hear what customers have to say about it. To see if it's worth getting. I'm expecting nothing less than shivering isles.

Another thing. Timed dlc has never been anything I've been concerned with. Does it really matter that you get to PAY for skyrim dlc before me? Or that I get to PAY for BF3 dlc before you?
If it was an absolute exclusive or free dlc I could understand. But I have no problem waiting a few days/weeks/months to have the option to pay more for a game.

Maybe during that exclusivity window, Bethesda Softworks can get the basic PS3 version of Skyrim stable before they go sticking on any extra bits that throw everything right out of whack again.

When it comes to DLC, bigger is better. Look at the GTA expansions. I don't want some little 3 hour POS for $10. Give me an actual expansion and I'll give your $20 for it. Just make sure the value is there relative to the original game.
@Tivo - It's Bethesda. As far as their concerned they can do no wrong shit gold. If Bethesda announced they were literally going to package and sell human shit, people would buy it. Fucked if I know why though. I've 100%'d Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and only got about 75% of the cheevos in Skyrim and left loads of quests undone, and even that was at a push. The game wasn't bad, it was just boring, and I just didn't see one single fucking bit of the 'depth' this game is supposed to have. Breadth certainly, but not depth. Wide as a lake and shallow as a pond as TB put it.

I think they make some real fun worlds to play in and i enjoyed Skyrim prob a little too much. I will agree that breadth was greater than depth. During almost all the quests it required using your own imagination to give it any sort of value. I did notice the lakes were rather shallow too ;)
