It's a load of money but the Dragon Statue looks sweet and finally we get an art-book that is big and has a hard-cover! Normally, I'd say "fuck that $150 shit!" but this offer is tickling my wallet..
@Blake Stone-Dragons do so enjoy their virgin sacrifices so said magics are a necessary inclusion in such a package which will no doubt become quite popular with the set looking for re-virginator kits and medical procedures for whom Skyrim Collector's Edition will be the Game of The Forever.
I honestly don't give a damn about the F*CLING DRAGON, and find the price to be incredibly steep, but as an Elder Scrolls fan I am compelled to purchase it anyway. That's $150 down the crapper for me!
If it was $100 or even $120 I'd buy it but the awesomeness of that dragon doesn't justify the exclusion of two other games I could get with that money.
It looks nice, but I have a feeling it's made of the finest Chinese plastic, hollowed out on the inside, and weighing about a pound. I love overpriced plastic as much as the next guy, but statue is a loose term to describe these kinds of things.
And I guess I've been spoiled, but for 150 bucks I expect more these days. Between the CoD's extravagant techno toys and the sheer 'lot's of crap' approach that Killzone 3 took, I want more than just a fancy artbook and (hopefully not) cheap sorta-statue.
But god damnit, it's Skyrim. And they deserve my money. I'm conflicted.

Are these game series composed of standalone installments? I want to ask this because I am getting excited for Skyrim but don't really want to play Oblivion knowing this one is already coming.
I'm withholding my purchase of this epic collectors edition until Bethesda drops the lawsuit against Notch over the scrolls trademark.

I was hoping the collector's edition would be $80-100. It's pretty cool but another site said the statue is made of PVC. $150 should get something better than plastic. And how limited will it be considering other past CEs? I saw the Halo: Reach LE for $80 at Best Buy.

Nope. I'll be getting the regular edition. I have too many games to buy this year, and at $149.99 that's ridiculous.
Okay... I'm at $160 right now.... Already preordered Arkham City, so I gotta buy that.... probably getting Space Marine.... And now THIS?! I preordered the game in March, so I'm obviously getting it, but holy shit I need money. Lots of money.
160 is enormously unreasonable for what is being offered. Look at the catherine special edition - 79.99 with an art book + cd, t shirt, boxers, and pillowcase. If more devs gave that kind of deal I'd buy special editions a hell of a lot more often
Annoyingly, I really badly wanted to buy the limited edition of Skyrim but this completely prices me out. Shame, because I love that art book.
I wonder if Bethesda will come out with "Dragon Armor" that you can purchase later to put on your Dragon model.
No soundtrack, no buy for me. Not as a rule, but for a game like this yup. Art books are almost always garbage and statues are lame as hell. The map is ok but the one in game trumps it. So...no. Not without at least a soundtrack.

There's lots of bizarro gothic sites that sell dragon statues. And dragon mirrors, toilet seats, air fresheners, lighters, fucking everything. This really ain't that great.
So expensive. If its at least €149.99 I'll buy it.

Seems expensive...the Dark Souls preorder is WAY better. $60 for everything above...minus the dragon---so IMO the dragon is not worth a $90.
