Skype on the Sony PSP? Now we can fail at podcasts on the move photo

If any of you have experience in recording podcasts, you'll know that Skype is a complete and utter nightmare, but sadly it's the best tool at your disposal. Well, the heralded voice chat client is now being said to be headed to Sony's PSP handheld. Will it lag out when you try and play games, use the Internet or breathe? It wouldn't be true Skype otherwise.

Details are very thin on the ground because, well, there aren't any. That said, there is a definite mention of a Skype client on Sony's CES 2008 promotional Web site. Nothing's been fully confirmed yet, so it remains to be seen. CES comes later in the month and we should get the full details then.

When I did a podcast for my school back in high school, I used Winamp, Audacity, and a few other tools. But I guess if you're using Skype that means the hosts are not all in one place?

If Skype's really that bad, you could try double ending:

That has nothing to do with the PSP, its just the new version of the Mylo communicator.

the psp does not have a built in mic, it will need to come bundled with a mic attachment or headset.

Wow, I could do RetroForce on the fly and stop having to miss podcasts. I'd probably sound like I was in a wind tunnel though.

I clearly don't know anything about recording podcasts, but why is skype needed for that. When I recorded things with my friends we used Ventrilo, it has built in voice logging.
