Skinjob: Persona 4 Golden preorders get a cool Vita skin

In case you needed another reason to be hyped up for the North American release of Persona 4 Golden, Atlus have some preorder bonuses in store for fans. They're including a free P4G-themed Vita skin with preorders of the game. It's designed by Dezaegg (who also made some P4G iPhone cases), and is identical to the one that was included with the deluxe edition of the game in Japan, even down to wording that says "Persona 4 The Golden" instead of the corrected English title.

The game will also come with a set of eight background wallpapers to match the skin, themed after each of the game's characters. Check out more details in the gallery. So far the skin is only available from Atlus' usual partners: Gamestop, EB Games Canada, and Amazon.

When it was first revealed for the Japanese release, I thought it looked really cool, what with the yellow and rainbows and the same pattern the kids have on their school uniform collars. A few folks said it looked "too chipper" for a murder mystery, but what's wrong with that? More games should be chipper. More rainbow, less rust and gunmetal.
