The Tales of Monkey Island series is rushing to a close December 8 with the release of “Rise of the Pirate God,” the fifth and final installment. No doubt some MI fans are experiencing confused feelings about this -- a new MI game should be celebrated, yet this soon-to-be-released downloadable signals the end of fresh MI content.

Regardless, new images have been released.

Developer Telltale Games sent out the first three images of the fifth chapter and we couldn’t refuse sharing them with you. Hit the gallery and give the header a look -- ghost Guybrush seems to be a functional Guybrush. Minus that whole corporeal thing. Also, bonus skeleton shot.

GOG.com welcomes Sam, Max, and Guybrush

GOG.com has been my go-to site for adventure gaming for quite some time. It used to just be for the classics I remember from my misspent youth; whiled away with pointing and, indeed, clicking. Now, more and more modern titles...more
