Singularity getting its own one-off graphic novel in 2010 photo

Raven Software’s Singularity, the game that was scared in to 2010 by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, will be getting its own comic book.

Set to be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con this week, the graphic novel is being created in collaboration with Twistory Studios and Image Publishing, with David Athchison (Occult Times Taskforce), Davide Fabbri (Heavy Metal, Star Wars for Dark Horse), Christopher “Mink” Morrison (Dust, 13 Chambers), and Tom Mandrake (Batman, The Punisher) bringing it to life.

The one-off book will be available after the 2010 release of the Activision-published Singularity, but you can get a sneak peek at Activision’s booth during Comic-Con.

In other news: Gamers look at comic books "graphic novels" the same way hollywood looks at video games. No one cares, it's like an action figure.

If only we looked at action figures like Tomopop.

Honestly. Too many graphic novels. Give me a coffee mug or something for Christ's sake.

This game was pushed into 2010 aswell? I mean makes sense, the only FPS that could go up against CoD sales wise is Halo, but still, SHIT. Everything is getting delayed.

Honestly, who buys video game based graphic novels? How could you, when there are so many great comic books out there that are worth reading? I mean, try walking into a comic book store with thirty bucks and buying a video game based graphic novel. It's like walking into a candy store and buying a head of lettuce.

@Miggy29

Right on! The only ones I ever bought were the Street Fighter comics back in the day, and to be fair they were entertaining.

These one-shot promotional graphic novels just smack of 'cash-in'. If you really want to build on the universe of your game or give fans something extra to explore, at least wait to see if anyone fucking LIKES your game to begin with...

Super gay, making a one shot comic of video games is really starting to get dumb. The ONLY video game comic that interests me is Unbound Saga, and I don't even want to buy the game ironically.
