SimCity Societies, amiable alliteration abounds photo

EA's long running city building franchise is due a fifth installment, according to CVG, who report that the next issue of US Games for Windows magazine will see the announcement of what has become known as SimCity Societies.

So far, the name is all that's surfaced as far as information goes, which is leading to speculation that the game will be focused more on the inhabitants of your cities. You know what they need to update instead, though? SimLife. Not because it was particularly good, it's just that I remember that one, and the fact it said "ooh la la" to represent the act of mating in the wild. Because animals are French.

Yuck. I love SimCity, and eagerly anticipate the new one, but this just looks...wrong. Count me very very disappointed for the moment.
