I'm okay with that, I can wait. Catherine and MGS HD Collection is out in Europe early February and I just preordered them.
I was too scared to play these when they came out and probably still. Games are powerful media / art, no movie had ever scared me even a little. Proof.

Yeah, silent hill 2 is one of my all time favorite games, especially in its genre. While I liked SH3 to an extent, I absolutely hated SH4, I tried several times to get into it, but it just never clicked. Everyone cries that western developers are ruining silent hill, but the japanese team dropped the ball first with SH4. At this point, im skeptical of ANY dev team making a new, good silent hill.
i really liked the room it had a pretty damn good premise just controls were a little flimsy as was the combat but it had a lot of great ideas. if i hate anyone of the SH Games it is Shattered Memories

I don't have anything to check against cause retailers have changed the date, but wasn't it due out this month? If so then delaying it the next month means it'd be out in February, not March. Some people will be confused by that wording for sure.

Silent Hill 4 was good.. Silent Hill Homecoming (360 version) was good

I still don't understand how this is a silent hill collection with no Silent Hill origins, 1 or 4. Ok well maybe I understand 4... but the term collection pretty much means everything. otherwise you'd call it "volume 1" or something. I wont bother getting it anyway since i own them all already and buying it in HD doesnt do anything for me.
Same goes for MGS... why is there no MGS1? it just doesnt make ANY sense to me. That'd be like making A mario collection and leaving out super mario world... oh wait... they did that too... I mean COME ONE super mario all stars + Super mario world EXISTED for SNES. they didnt HD them, they ported them! so WHY not port the Super mario all stars + Super Mario world game itself instead of the one without it? My all time personal favorite mario game too. but i guess my bias doesn't help.

I'll actually play this when it comes out. I tried to get into Silent Hill 2 a while back, and I thought it was boring as hell. Maybe I'll be able to force myself this time.
