Following retailers updating their online listings for Silent Hill HD Collection to reflect a March 6 release date, Konami has confirmed with Joystiq that the game has been delayed to next month. "We will be sending out definitive dates on all three Silent Hill games later this week," the company responded.
It could just be my imagination, but it seems like these high-def re-releases are particularly prone to getting pushed back. At least we generally know what's in store; waiting slightly longer to play something familiar isn't quite as painful.

I'm not a big fan of it, but it's still leagues ahead of Homecoming
SH4 wasn't even supposed to be a Silent Hill game.
I don't have anything to check against cause retailers have changed the date, but wasn't it due out this month? If so then delaying it the next month means it'd be out in February, not March. Some people will be confused by that wording for sure.

SH Shattered Memories was crap!!
Silent Hill in general has crappy fans. Silent Hill is DEAD!!
Same goes for MGS... why is there no MGS1? it just doesnt make ANY sense to me. That'd be like making A mario collection and leaving out super mario world... oh wait... they did that too... I mean COME ONE super mario all stars + Super mario world EXISTED for SNES. they didnt HD them, they ported them! so WHY not port the Super mario all stars + Super Mario world game itself instead of the one without it? My all time personal favorite mario game too. but i guess my bias doesn't help.
And Silent Hill 4 was great and so was Shattered Memories! Both had amazing music and Shattered Memories had an awesome story, could have cared less there was no combat in it, it made it interesting.
