Silent Hill haunted maze opens this October photo

The Jeff Schleffelbein’s Sinister Pointe attraction venue in Orange County is getting a very Silent Hill makeover this Halloween, which we already knew about. The 10,000 square feet vacant movie theater will see all sorts of creepy nurses, Pyramid Heads and other scary things from the Silent Hill universe as they try to scare people into having heart attacks.

The haunted maze kicks off on October 2 and will last until October 31. It’ll be open from 7PM to 10PM on Weekdays and 7PM to 12AM on Weekends. There will also be a special media day for the event, and we are so sending Chad to this thing. Nothing better than hearing dolphin boy scream like a little girl.

Visit Sinister Pointe to get your tickets and hear creepy-but-not-really-creepy-at-all sound effects. So who’s going?

Haunted houses scare the bejesus out of me. I once cried at one and tried hopelessly to find an early exit out of the place.

I was 26 when that happened. :)

It sounds fun, but I live in PA. Here's hoping it makes lots of money and the house runners want to port it over here.

I live in Orange County and I'm not even sure where this happening, lol. We don't have the best haunted houses, but there are a lot of them here.
Hey, Chad, maybe we can go in together. Just don't squeeze my arm too tight!

Ive been to my fair share of haunted houses. But this one would be in another league compared to them. They should do one on the east coast next year.

It's across from the Brea Mall, right before the 57 goes into the Mountains. On the other side of the freeway. There's a map too. That's freaking close, I might go. :O

Yeah it's where the movie theatre used to be, next to the Borders that closed down, behind the still functioning (and still delicious) Lucille's BBQ (Imperial & Associated). I propose a Dtoid meet up at Lucille's, then we unleash the nerd rage in Silent Hill.

On a side note, this company did the official Saw maze last year in the same spot and this year Universal Studios decided to make Saw the theme for Halloween Horror Nights this year. How awesome would a Silent Hill themed Halloween Horror nights be? Add Resident Evil and Dead Space mazes and I will literally ejaculate in my own pants.

I lul'd. I didn't want to, being dead tired from working the graveyard shift, but I did.

Capital Idea, I'm surprised the Los Angeles Dtoid blog hasn't come up with it yet, but then again, it isn't October yet...

First, if the Etruscans were indeed Trojans, then the fact that the Magliano disk is the only object resembling the Phaistos disk clearly suggests that they came from the same cultural tradition, though perhaps some 700 years apart--i.e., that the Phaistos disk is Trojan.
