** Spelling!
Maybe they realized that it was total crap, and are either going to completely re make it or shelf it forever. I couldn't care either really I liked the first Silent Hill on PSone, and that's my whole experience with that franchise.
They do seem to keep the Metal Gear Franchise going on pretty well though, mostly due to their resident golden goose though.
metal gear, zone of the enders, castlevania these guys own some of my favorite franchises so it's sad to see them in such pathetic shape. I hope they get thier act together soon, I don't think any irreparable damage has been done to the company yet, but it's gonna happen soon if this keeps up.
The game is delayed, allowing more time to polish it and make it a better experience. The game is rumored to now be coming out on Halloween. Guess what? That's a pretty great time to release a horror video game. Also, it will be after the release of some heavy hitters on Vita, like Gravity Rush and Ragnarok Odyssey, so the system install base will be larger. Also, this is after an E3 that very well could persuade many people to jump on board with the system.
Releasing the game on Halloween suggests that the marketing department is finally pulling their head out of their ass a little bit. Releasing a patch for Silent Hill HD shows that they know they fucked that up.
They should have announced a delay though. They still need to work on that, clearly. It's hardly the end of the world though, or the end of Konami. Actually, they just released their financial statements, and they were profitable this year because of some major bank from social games.
Konami is still a publisher with recognizable IP's and enough power to have some affect on Sony's decisions with VITA. It is too bad for either companies, hopefully they do okay.
Sony just posted some major losses recently. They aren't going to cut the price on Vita any time soon, so give up on that one. The system is priced well for what it is. When it was announced at $250 originally, everyone lost it because they couldn't believe how cheap it was.
All Sony needs to do is keep getting more games out.
If they need to cut the price on anything, it's memory cards, not the system.
Because a 4player top down iso is a stupid way for sh to go. Next thing you know ill be playing ultra buff guys taking cover behind shit while shooting massive guns at pyramid head.

It would have been nice of Sony to offer an Ambassador program, just throw people some PSOne classics or something. Give me more incentive to buy your console with no remote play, no youtube, sparse game releases, whatever.
I feel like people are hinging their hope on E3, but what if E3 doesn't deliver for the Vita? Even if it does, those games would be months away! I LOVE my Vita, it's the best handheld I've ever had, but I can't help but feel a little burned by a megalithic company that could do more, but chooses not to.
Only reason I wish it'd come out is so the Vita could have another game, but what precedent does that really set? Shit games for the sake of having games isn't going to help anyone.
Honey, don't stop trying and you'll get what you deserve. All the single ladies. Et cetera.
hopefully it'll get canceled, this game is an abomination against everything Silent Hill stands for
