God damn this post confused the hell out of me. At first I was like "Roger Avary wrote the story for Silent Hill 2?" But then I realized we were talking about the movie.
yeah this reminds me of the story that Dick McVengeance wrote a year or so ago that was also in poor taste and pulled from the front page. Same joke, its just a different method of delivery. Once again the fact that the accident seriously injured his wife and killed Andreas Zedini is only a side note for him daring to write a bad movie. Curious how 2 different writers still think its funny that a man died.

I thought his work on the screenplay started after he pleaded guilty - he obviously doesn't think it will get in the way?

@manasteel88 - I totally understand where you are coming from. But innocent people died because of his misjudgments and carelessness. Doesn't matter who they were. I know he didn't go "crazy", but if you ask me, everything about this incident is bat-shit insane. If a guy driving 100 mph DRUNK isn't "crazy", then I don't know what is.
That's what happened if Hollywood try to make a sequel of the only decent video game based movies, it's a curse!
