Microsoft is once again offering eager Xbox 360 owners the opportunity to check out the impending dashboard upgrades before the floodgates are opened for the general game-playing public.
By signing in here with the Windows LIVE ID associated with your Gamertag and filling out the necessary fields, you might be selected for this preview program. ESPN on Xbox LIVE, Zune music, Netflix search, the new dashboard, and updates to Zune video and Family Settings are what's included.
Take note: if selected, you won't be able to use voice chat with non-preview members due to audio improvements over the current codec. That's kind of a big deal for some of you, so don't opt in if you're doing any online multiplayer soon.

The Xbox One was revealed this weak to thunderous applause. Oh wait, did we say applause? We meant, farts. Thunderous farts.
Speaking of farts, here's a man who loves the smell of his, tearing Microsoft's unified entertainment philosophy to shreds and arguing how the Xbox One is basically a system for nobody but the privileged and demented.

1 vs. 100 for Xbox 360 was a delight, plain and simple. I know I'm not the only one who would like to see it return or, at the very least, see Microsoft introduce more game shows that tap into the Xbox Live user base.
