Forget halos and horns. Your actions as either an antagonist or protagonist in inFamous does more than shape your character -- they shape an entire city. Sony recently dropped a behind-the-scenes trailer for the open-world, morally charged action title -- sounds like a Molyneux wet dream -- that generally details how Empire City’s sights and sounds can be adjusted by your good or evil hands.
While the idea of shaping a city is novel, I’m really digging what Sony is doing with the game’s music. In the video, you’ll get a little sneak hearing of the game’s score -- one with plenty of strings and tribal flavor that, of course, changes with how you approach the game.
I love being the bad guy, but I might actually try to save Empire City. It looks a tad on the crumbly side anyway. Which path are you guys going to choose?
I've played the demo. Playing as good or bad seems slightly different from one another, enough that I'll probably play through it twice to get all the goodness. I'll probably try to play good first time and bad the second time, but inFamous seems a little more morally ambiguous than that. I'm very intrigued. The game looks awesome and I'm definitely excited.
The small subtle changes in the city as you progress through the game is a very nice touch. The way they made the sounds and music was certainly creative.
I just really hope that the people in Empire City are not people I know I'll hate when I look at them, like some of the people in the Wasteland in Fallout 3. I'll try out the good guy route, just as long as the inhabitants I want to save are not assholes.
Gamestops' Sony rep gave my friend a download code and he gave it to me. I dont think there is any other way of getting them now but I assume as it get closer to the release time it will be available on the PS store
