Shootmania Storm has an interesting spin on the first-person shooter model. Actually, throw the model out the window because it's totally customizable. You can sign up for the beta here, but while you wait, Ubisoft and Twitch TV are giving you the chance to get a good long look at the game in action.

Today at 5PM PST, there will be a tournament in Shootmania broadcast live from the Twitch TV offices, with commentary by TotalBiscuit and Joe Miller. The top two teams at the end of this tournament will be battling it out in front of a live audience at Ubisoft's E3 booth, with special host, Day9. This marks the first time in a while that a competitive gaming tournament will be held at E3, so be sure to catch it by following Shootmania Storm's channel.

Nisha the Lawbringer whips it good in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

I got to spend a little time with Nisha the Lawbringer from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and yippee ki-yay is she a fun character. Nisha brings Old West sensibilities to this moon shooter, and a few new tricks as well. And a bullwhip.more
