After a string of ports, Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture's well-regarded shmup Sine Morahas found its way to iOS. This version for iPad and iPhone is priced at $5.99 and was developed by Pocket Scientists. Those looking for an Android port will have to wait a bit longer, but the current time frame is before the end of July, so it's not far off.
I enjoyed Sine Mora in its original release on Xbox Live Arcade. It's rare that I get too deep into the genre given my lackluster ability and patience, but the game's intriguing, dark world and characters were more than enough motivation to see the title through to completion. Worth picking up -- especially at that price -- assuming the touch controls are halfway decent.
