Another high-profile videogame, another broken street date. Once again, a marquee title has suffered from premature ejaculaunching, as it seems several 7-11s are accidentally selling Gears of War 2 ahead of its worldwide release on Friday.
A number of reports have been floating around the Internet, but tipster "DirrtyBird" has been kind enough to send us pictures of his brand new copy, complete with a handy warning on the case spine that reads: "DO NOT SELL BEFORE 11/07/08." Oh dear.
Our lucky gamer had to do some hunting, though. It took three or four calls before he struck Gears-flavored gold. If you want to get your chocolate-covered hands on a copy, grab a phone book and get dialing.
The rest of you ... do nothing!

I mean, it's a convenience store.
(I moved to a state 10 years ago without 7-11s, so I only really visit them when I go back to Kansas to visit family)
