Games these days have epic stories span years, but I don't know of any that go back a millennium or two. Upcoming Wii game Shiren the Wanderer does. Atlus' new blog on the game reveals details about its huge plot and its characters. It says that once you get those 2k years under your belt, you can actually go back and complete side stories. How long is this game?

Shiren the Wanderer is still set to be released next month, February 9, 2010. We have a preview of the game right here.
