Information about Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper hasn't exactly been flowing from Focus Home Interactive. We gather from the press releases that SH vs. JR is an adventure game where you’ll hunt the whore killer with Holmes’ keen detective eye, tools, and brain. This is probably why the latest batch of screenshots of the game appear so, uh, boring.
If I were Jack the Ripper, I wouldn’t bother with the prostitute pictured above. Don’t get me wrong, now -- I’m all for large hookers. However, I believe the time and energy spent on her disemboweling could be put to better use elsewhere. Like knife shopping at the corner store or relaxing at the local pub.

I hope the game allows more freedom and flexibility in the game to go about your investigation. For example, you could bribe someone, fuck someone, threaten or kill someone, or plant false evidence on someone for information.
Anyway, I still look forward to what else this title brings. Hopefully less...people covered in grease and sweat.

I kinda wonder where they are going with this game as to WHAT you do as it sounds like a big ol investigation type game.

@TheCleaningGuy I would try Sherlock Holmes and the Secret of the Solver Earring. It's the only recent one with a traditional adventure interface.
