Shenmue Tomato Convenience Store theme gets an overhaul
Do you remember the Tomato Convenience Store jingle from the Shenmue games on Sega Dreamcast? Of course you do, as it's impossible to forget the song. If you're anything like me, you spent most of the game just standing in one place to listen to the music. Hell, I'd be happy if Shenmue 3 was just convenience stores, capsule toy collecting, Lucky Hit and forklift races, all strung together by awkward NPC interactions. I never forgot the Tomato jingle. To get it out of my head, I took the theme jingle, arranged it, wrote new nonsense lyrics for the vocals, and recorded it all. Think of it as a spiritual successor to my previous Shenmue mix, "Come to Bob's Pizza," which also had kooky vocals. I call it "Tomato Tomahtoh," and it's one of the silliest things I've done in awhile. Enjoy. If you dug it, check out more of my game music remixes on OverClocked Remix. Lyrics: Need some food for your cat The owner’s a freak [Group] They got some snacks and batteries
