Awesome, that game is amazing, it's good to see it reaching a wider audience, and hopefully getting the recognition (and monies) it deserves.
I bought this on DSiWare, still haven't played it. Gotta finish the original first...

Niice, I quite enjoyed the DSi version but would probably get it again on ios if the price is right. I think they could get the controls at least decent, it's not like the game requires extreme precision or anything and it would be cool to have it reach a wider audience.

Honestly, I can't see playing it with my iPhone after playing it on the 3DS.
It may be cheaper, but this game just begs for buttons, it may cost more, but in my opinion, WayForward deserves the extra dollars.

I really didn't like the game, loved the gameplay and graphics but absolutely hated HATED the design.
No more IOS games with "touch controls" trying to mimic d-pads and buttons for me. That's what my 3DS is for. IOS developers need to play to the strengths of the platform like Infinity Blade and Jetpack Joyride have done so well.
ugh... no thanks. I was hoping Wayforwards announcement would be that the original was coming to eShop but this was disappointing. Good for the iPhoners I guess but I just hope they don't hate the game because of shoddy touch controls. It may not be a reflex heavy game, but precision is important.
iOS is good for Infinity Blade, not 2D platformers. It will probably be ass-cheap compared to DSi release.

I beat SMB3 on iphone via emulator. This should be no problem. While touch controls are slightly less satisfying to the fingers than buttons, the idea that they are somehow less precise is a myth.
Is there any reason why the game is $12 on DSiWare? It looks amazing but that price is just ridiculous.

More Shantae is good news. I played the original, but I have yet to download Risky's Revenge. I only JUST upgraded from GBA to 3DS.

@Boneycork: Much like it's a myth that an analaog stick is less precise than a fight stick in relation to fighting games, or that an analog stick is less precise than mouse in shooters?
Certain games play better on certain input devices.
And I imagine playing these games with your fingers covering up more than a quarter of the screen isn't ideal.
