Shank is coming soon to PC, XBox 360 and PS3, and I'm quite looking forward to it. If you've never heard of it, it's a downloadable sidescrolling slaughterfest developed by Klei Entertainment and published by EA. There's a brand new trailer for it that you can look at with the seeing balls inside your face, so go do that.
Looks pretty neat, eh? Yes it does. Let's all look forward to it because it's bound to be ten times better than Rush n' Attack ever was. Seriously, yay or nay on this? Let us know what you think.

Yeah this game looks badass.
By the way, has anyone tried Shoot 1UP yet? I know it was promoted here a few weeks ago, but I finally got around to downloading it last night (yep, still only $1) and it was a fucking blast.
The animation looks very smooth too. I have played the XBLA version of n+; something else that Klei Entertainment worked on, and the animation were smooth and the platforming was fun. Can't wait to try it 'Shank".
Waiting a full year for Braid, Castle Crashers or Winterbottom to hit PSN just isn't fun (though still more fun than them never showing up on the service at all).
I squee with joy! (And it doesn't have anything to do with one of those limited edition Shank maquettes being on top of the monitor a foot and a half away~)
On that subject, does anyone know what kind of funding this game is actually getting?
I'm torn. This looks like a really cool game, but not a genre I'm really big on. Oh, wait, should've said "I'm shanked".
I'd say yay at 400 points (because unless the trailer misrepresents I'm expecting it to be a little short and repetitive, so hopefully if that guess is correct they take that in account to pricing it).
Higher than 400 points...nay. (Unless it ends up to be longer and deeper than the trailer shows) Only because there's dozens of games like this. I know it will be higher than 400 the way Arcade is getting nutty with prices, but when it's on sale? Sure, I'd buy. Anything with gore is worth playing through for me.
