Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

The other day I implored you to go see the Video Games Live concert at Yale University. Whether or not you heeded my advice, I will never know. Though I suggest that in the future, when the almighty Dyson tells you to do something -- you do it.  For when the revolution begins, rest assured, Master Dyson will spare no quarter and only those loyal to me shall survive. Keep in mind, though, that I am a fickle master and your worth shall be judged by the presents that you lay at my feet.

To curry my favor, you may use the efforts of Bryan "ACE711" Demanbey as a learning experience. Not only did my promising new acolyte go to the VGL, but he has appeased his new lord with two videos from the event. Handheld, shakycam videos, but videos nonetheless. Learn well from his example if you wish to avoid my wrath.

I WAS AT THIS CONCERT!!!

Just a little info for you about this pipe organ. It's THREE STORIES TALL! I can't even explain to you how awesome it was being there and seeing him perform this.

By the way, this was not the only piano work he performed that night. He did two other amazing medleys (A final fantasy one and an old school one). And he also performed his famous blindfolded mario routine. It was amazing!

I think the coolest part of the organ performance was how the whole theater sort of shook when he held the big notes. It was really impressive.

I told Martin, after the show, that the Yale performance was his best to date. Being the humble kid he is he just kind of grinned, shrugged and said "I don't know". :)

If you do a search on Youtube for "Video Games Live" and then sort them by most recent, you will find pretty much EVERY portion of the show. So, if you missed it, or still are unsure about attending when we come to your town - be sure to check out the awesome footage that people got!

Everything about the Videogames Live show was top notch; if you haven't gone before because it's too far away, it's well worth a long drive. The last remaining thing for my life to be complete now is for Tommy to find a way to bring Judgement Day back to the U.S.......
