Home #Bionic Commando

Many people have been worried that the Xbox 360 versions of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Bionic Commando: Rearmed would be lower-quality titles compared to the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the games. Both games are offering a lot of new content on top of all the HD stuff, so this was causing both games to go over Microsoft's file size limit on XBLA games.

Capcom reassured everyone earlier in the week that this is not the case anymore. Capcom and Microsoft have been working very closely with each other and Microsoft has allowed for both of these titles to have slightly bigger file sizes than the normal standard.

I have to wonder if Microsoft will ever do away with the restrictions. We haven't heard of issues like this that much in the past, but I wonder how many XBLA titles lost something along the way due to the file size restriction.

I never knew Hadokens were made out of ghost hands. The things you learn when you go to Hi-Def.

"slightly bigger file sizes than the normal standard"

How about just removing the limit?

Yeah, the hands have always been there. I didn't realize until Street Fighter Alpha 3, but then when I went back and looked that's what they were. So stupid.

There was always those hands, c'mon. But I am pretty much pissed they haven't made Ryu look like the original coin-up versions select screen. Normally, I should dig up the net and find it for you guys but you know what I mean.

That 150 MB limit really is asinine. Microsoft should just get rid of it already.

Chalk up another one who never knew those were hands in there. But it takes both HD and the 3rd dimension to explain why penis why??

This is great news. I much prefer to get this for the 360 over the PS3 given the size of my PS3 friends list.

The file size limit was also a problem with Symphony of the Night, IIRC, and in that case MS gave Konami the green light for bigger size too, on account of the game awesome.

But not as awesome as Aria of Sorrow. Yeah, I went there.

Actually I believe there was a smaller limit before SotN. They increased the limit globally to 150 (??) to allow for SotN. Hope they do the same here. Or abolish it. Or actually ideally they would just allow for extra size only for games that I deem the awesome factor warrants it.

I can't believe so many people never noticed the hands in the fireballs! Anyway, I'm glad they won't have to worry about file size limitations. I wonder how many of the Core and Arcade users Microsoft is so desperately worried about are just people like me who purchased an extra 360 while their Pro was out getting fixed.

I noticed hands in fire balls 2 years after street fighter 2 came out and they was on to street fighter 2 turbo by pausing the game on accident.

This is prime example of gaming gayness. I bought that bugged crap version of SF2 already from the marketplace, but now that they have my money, the re-release it with better graphics and such. What a fag waste of time.
