Several new Super Street Fighter IV stages revealed photo

A beer-bellied construction worker shouts while a cohort flexes, crunching his abdomen against his tight pink tanktop. Labor and Metro City infrastructure is on neither of their minds -- a fight is happening in front of them as two Super Street Fighter IV specimens seek to prove their combat mettle.

The new Metro City stage is one of the several new arenas unveiled via the Capcom Unity blog this afternoon. Blue-skied and rife with titillated urban builders this level looks to be the perfect place to stage a fight. And to praise all that is Haggar.

Of major note is the African level, which features a vibrant visual style and hippos that can be knocked down. Destructoid asked Capcom’s Seth Killian what it takes to topple one of these meat-bags.

“Frankly, hippos are unpredictable,” Killian told us. “A nearby spinning pile-driver is a guaranteed anti-hippo technique, but I’ve even seen a Metsu Hadoken do the trick once in a while.”

And how does it feel when one of them fall? “Like you’re master of the universe,” Killian said jokingly.

A Korean and Indian stage, as well as a rebuilt S.I.N. Lab were revealed as well. A few of the twenty images available over at Capcom Unity are available below.

it would be really cool if they just remade Final Fight using SFIV's graphics and made it an extra in SFIV. They need Haggar though.

Are Hugo and Andore different people?

Also, it took me until two days ago to realize that "Andore" is how a Japanese person would spell out "Andre," like Andre the Giant. Yeah.

Haggar needs to be in this game. Or a game. All games?

@Char Aznable

I believe they are the same person since Hugo's full name is Hugo Andore.

No, Hugo and Andore are the same person. The characters full name is Hugo Andore, and essentially they called him Andore(Andre) in Final Fight, but once they moved him into SFIII, they just changed it to Hugo from there on. My best guess is they switched it so it doesn't have any major resemblance to Andre the Giant, sort of what they did with the whole M. Bison - Balrog thing.

Is this one going to include all the new DLC costumes that had to be purchased in the first one? That would be a nice convenient little bonus. Anyways, the levels look great. I guess I'm going to have to re-purchase this game.

stages are looking pretty good, like the alternate seth stage. be cool if it were one of those things you start off on the normal stage and if you beat seth around it changes to all that. Like when games do that.

Metro-City stage looks sweet, it's just too bad it's not Cody in the background, with Hugo as the playable character...

Its good to know that Mayor Hagger allows reformed criminals/Paroles of Mad Gear to take on construction jobs to rebuild the city they tried so hard to take over. It shows that Mike can be a humanitarian and forgive those that he pile drove into the pavement. My only complaint of his term as mayor is that he should have used his budget for more cops instead going the cheap route and just letting him, a martial arts expert pal, and his lousy good-for-nothing/YMCA boxing lessons future son in law take care of the streets. Also he still needs to figure out why all the Turkeys, hamburgers, sushi, and gum he supplied to the Metro Homeless Charity Foundation somehow showed up in trash cans and rusty barrels uneaten and even still cooking, because that's just weird!

The Africa stage just makes me want Elena in this game all the more. And I didn't think it was possible for me to want Elena in this game more than I already do.
