Update: The little marine said "job's done"

Is anyone still awake? No? Ok, good! We're going to take down the site for a few minutes into the wee hours to add some new hardware to support more simultaneous readers. Some of you will not experience any discernable loss of service due to either DNS perpetuation lag times or the fact that, given the hour, you're probably drunk with but one eye open. Arg!

The upgrade is also taking us one step closer to opening the community blogs to the masses. Thanks everyone, we'd be peeling potatoes and collecting Reader's Digest if it wasn't for your support!

It's been so long since the site was down.

It slows down to a grind on peak times on occassion and we need more storage space, so that's all coming. I also want to make sure that if we're going to host 5,000 people's blogs we have the right hardware in place
