Serious Sam HD wants you to submit your wit photo

Serious Sam HD is coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PC, and I can't wait. To celebrate the return of Duke Nukem's superior, a brand new contest has been launched that could allow you to get your very own one-liner in the game, along with your name in the credits.

Serious Sam developer Devolver Digital is current accepting one-liners via the gift of Twitter. Simply follow its official Twitter Page and swamp it with submissions. I don't envy the guys who have to sift through the kind of puerile nonsense that is going to get submitted, but it was their idea, so I have limited sympathy.

For more details, check out the video after the jump.

Opening up to the internet for suggestions, huh? Well, I hope Devolver Digital is ready for a lot of dick jokes.

All these years I thought Duke Nukem was the one that came up with "it's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum". What a revelation.

I'm stoked about this game but in the video does he always have to say "HIGH DEFINITION"... can't he just say "HD"? I think we get the point, Sam.

Don't really like the HD slapped on the end, it's as bad as having DS, slapped on the end of DS games or Wii/64/Portable/Advanced etc. Boring!

Ah but who cares I will be getting this.

@Chronic -- if you don't know that movie you should totally check it out. For some reason many people deride it as one of Cameron's worst, but those people don't know what they're talking about.

@jsutcliffe - If you're referring to They Live, I think you mean Carpenter, not Cameron. But yes, definitely worth a view. Also has what I think is one of the most brutal/realistic street brawls I have seen in a movie, and it has Roddy Piper (= win).

@flabzilla It's just a quick way for the uninformed who might happen to be browsing XBLA to see "oh hey, its not the same old game, its an updated one!"

But lets behonest, everything is cooler with "HD" in it, right 1,345 games with HD in the title?

SSF2THDRemix: Yeah!
Alien Hominid HD: Yep.
Stardust HD: Mhhmm.

etc. etc. you get mah drift!

@Agent Orange -- they both begin with a "C." That's close enough!
