Last time we heard about the XBLA version of Serious Sam HD: First Encounter, a release date of January 13 had been announced. Impatient fans of mindless running n' gunning, however, will be thrilled to learn that Croteam's rather splendid HD remake is coming a little earlier. Next week, in fact.
The information comes by way of Digital Devolver: "Serious Sam HD on its way to XBLA next week. About damn time!"
Serious Sam HD made its way to PC all the way back in November, and console gamers have been impatiently tapping their feet as they awaited the XBLA version. As Digital Devolver says, it is about damn time. If you've not played the PC version already, then this is a game I can highly recommend if you want to switch your brain off and just indulge in some ludicrous first-person violence.

Not sure what time zone you're in (the future?), but MY next Wednesday is three days from now...
He said NEXT week, meaning not this week. Since it's Sunday, THIS week has started. This wednesday is the 6th, which is Matt Hazard. From what I've heard the 13th date was still solid, being next wednesday, not this wednesday.
Of course that last part depends if you say it correctly or not.
Anyway, I think it's still coming the real next week, January 13th.

I was going to throw in a line about that space-time thing, but I pulled it at the last second.
Anyway, yes, Serious Sam. Hot Dang. Wonder how they've coded the FPS analogue aiming... will it be twitchy, will it be smooth, will it be too slow, will it be tweaked a la Halo?
Wonder too, whether you can still get charged by a massive bull, hefted up onto the level's side wall, and pick off all the enemies slowly with impunity? :)
