Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter has gone gold, and is now up for pre-purchase over on Steam. Doing so will allow you to keep a few extra dollars in hand as you wait for the game to unlock on November 24.
Now it's obvious Serious Sam HD is a mighty step up in the visuals department, but I didn't truly appreciate the work that's been done until Devolver Digital linked to this super old Serious Sam announcement video created by Croteam. Talk about a trip.
I still say those screaming bomb-headed guys were ridiculously silly even from the very moment the original release of Serious Sam took place so many years ago.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.
