Serious Sam Classics: Revolution out now on Early Access

It's time to get serious. Or stoic. Actually, if Serious Sam is your thing, you might even want to get excited. A team of fans (with Croteam's blessing, no less) has launched Serious Sam Classics: Revolution on Steam, an iteration of the cult twitch shooter that combines Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter with new game modes, campaign levels, fan mods, weapons, and additional maps.

Alligator Pit is the indie development team behind Revolution, united by fans who wanted the original games to live on and evolve through the Serious Sam community's desire to expand and update older levels. The original games as you know and love them have effectively blossomed into Revolution, and you can try it out for $4.99 now via Steam Early Access, half off this week only. If you already own both Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter, you can download Revolution for free.

Check out more about Alligator Pit and the project here and follow Alligator Pit on Twitter if you so desire. Then go obliterate some Beheaded Kamikazes.

Video: Wilhelm is like a Terminator on rocket skates in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Back with more impressions from playing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, I had some first-hand playtime with the cybernetic tough guy, Wilhelm the Enforcer, which I would like to relate to you with my mouth. Wilhelm may not be all he's cracked up to be, yet. But he's got a couple of interesting surprises.more
