You can forget about your Bulletstorm, your Killzone, and even your Duke Nukem. Everybody knows that Serious Sam 3 is going to be the pinnacle of FPS gaming this year! Well ... it'll probably be cheaper, in any case.

Serious Sam 3: BFE (nobody knows what BFE stands for) has been officially announced by Croteam, and it's due to launch this Summer. The game is set in Egypt and will be a prequel to the original title, as Sam fights Mental's invading forces in the final battle for Earth.

The game will include new melee attacks, a 16-player campaign co-op mode, and competitive Deathmatch and Best Hunt modes. It'll be coming to PC and the usual consoles.

Sounds good to me. Can't bloody wait!
