Split screen rocks. It sucks that every time I want to play with a friend we can't chill out at the same place. I don't want couch gaming to be widdled down by those kiddie games Nintendo pumps out. Borderlands rocked for so many reasons, including split screen. Hope it comes back for Borderlands 2.
See? This is why I wished that Croteam had bought Free Radical instead of Crytek. We'd probably already have TimeSplitters 4: Guest Starring Serious Sam by now. When it comes to FPS fun, they, like FR, get it.

my god this is awesome. I'm so looking forward to this game it might be one of the feel good shooters I've been looking for with an old world feel.
Since it was in the original two games, there is no reason why it should be excluded from the new PC release. I like this.
I wouldn't expect there to be a very big market for local MP on the PC. Do many games support it? It seems to be something that only gamepad'centric games would benefit from.

The amount of times friends have come over and the limited amount of games we can play because none of the fucking support split-screen, online multiplayer had its pros but it has bluntly and slowly killed split-screen. Now I can only hope this will be the same for the consoles (Assuming) otherwise this comment was for nothing. As for serious sam its a strange game but I did enjoy first encounter.
