Not to outweigh the announcement that sequels are coming for Dead Space, Army of Two, and Battlefield: Bad Company, we are now being told that Pandemic is going to be making a third entry in the Mercenaries series.
"There will be a Mercenaries 3 and, if I have anything to do with it, there will be a Mercenaries 10," said EA CEO John Riccitiello during a post-earnings conference call yesterday afternoon.
As someone who was a rather large fan of Mercs 2: World in Flames, I'm cautiously optimistic that the good people at Pandemic will be able to take what they learned and apply it towards making the next game just as fun, minus all of those wacky glitches.
