Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric (that's the Wii U one) is dashing to North America on November 18, Sega announced today. It won't beat its portable (and more promising) companion to market, though, as Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal will arrive at the finish line come November 11.
Alongside the franchise's first CG-animated series, the games comprise Sega's new Sonic Boom "initiative" targeted toward a younger, new generation of fans. The titles also mark the final components of Sega's exclusivity deal with Nintendo, which also included Sonic Lost World and Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
